Event ticketing
Parties, owambes, church programmes, comedy nights, networking and conferences. Put your event in front of the Nigerian and African community in the UK, sell tickets, scan them at the door and get paid, all from one dashboard.
Setting up is free. Buyers pay a booking fee of 10% (minimum £1.00 an order, VAT included) on top of the ticket price, and you keep the full face value of every ticket. Free events carry no fee at all.
Free, paid or pay-what-you-like donation tickets, with as many ticket types as you need.
Early-bird sale windows, group tickets that admit several people, minimum and maximum per order, and private tickets behind a promo code.
Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and get QR tickets by email straight away.
Open the scanner on your phone and point it at the ticket. No app to install, no hardware to hire.
Every ticket scans once and only once, with a live count of who’s in and manual entry if someone’s screen is cracked.
Add door staff who can scan but can’t see your money, and co-organisers who can help run the event.
Ticket money is held safely and released to your bank through Stripe when you request a payout.
Non-refundable events release each sale 7 days after it's made. Refundable events release everything 5 days after the event, once the refund window has passed.
Your finances page shows what’s sold, what’s held and what you can withdraw today.
Venue fell through? Move the event to a later date instead of starting again. You need at least 7 days’ notice, and the new date has to be at least 7 days away too.
Once tickets are sold we check the change first, then tell every ticket holder. Anyone who can’t make the new date can ask for their money back, up to the original date.
If it can’t go ahead, one button stops sales and refunds every ticket holder automatically. You don’t have to chase anyone, and nobody has to chase you.
Choose per event. Refundable events let you refund a buyer from your dashboard. Non-refundable events show buyers a clear notice that they have to accept before they pay.
Either way, a date change or a cancellation still gets ticket holders their money back.
A page at naijaukhub.com/o/your-name with your logo, banner and every event you run, past and upcoming.
Everyone who buys a ticket follows your page, so your audience builds from one event to the next.
Sell from your own web address with your own logo, colours and ticket emails. We still take the payments, issue the tickets and run the scanner.
Bought per event, from £75.00. The booking fee stays exactly the same.
Every published event goes into our daily WhatsApp roundup of what’s on.
Ticketed events also get a short link, a branded QR code for flyers, referral links for your promoters, stats on views and sales, and a spot inside our news, guides and job posts.
Pick your name and web address, add a logo and banner. It takes a couple of minutes.
A step-by-step wizard: details, venue, date, tickets and your refund terms.
Go on sale straight away, or announce it first and schedule when tickets open.
Scan tickets on the night, then request your payout from your dashboard.
NaijaUKHub is where Nigerians and Africans in the UK find what they need: jobs with visa sponsorship, community events, businesses run by people from home, the pound-to-naira rate, news and visa guides.
We started as a place to find work and grew into the community’s noticeboard. Now we’re building the tools the businesses and organisers in it run on, so the people who already come here can buy from them, book with them and turn up to their events.
