Job Description
As a Water Science Graduate, you will join AECOM's multidisciplinary water environment team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects. Your work will involve technical investigations, restoration projects, and impact assessments for major national and international infrastructure initiatives.
Key responsibilities include conducting water quality studies, hydrological investigations (covering flood, drought, and water resource allocation), and geomorphological studies, including supporting channel enhancement and Natural Flood Management. You will also be involved in hydro-morphological studies, WFD/Environmental Compliance, and Environmental Impact Assessments for various development types.
Requirements
- Degree qualified with an MSc in Geography, Geomorphology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Hydrochemistry or similar.
- Ability to conceptualise and apply scientific principles to real-world environmental challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
