Job Description

As a Qualified or Newly Qualified Social Worker within the Bognor Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining patient safety and providing essential clinical advice on complex issues. Your responsibilities will include undertaking urgent and priority assessments, conducting risk assessments, and making critical decisions in crisis situations to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

You will also be responsible for managing complex cases when a patient's primary Care Coordinator is absent, providing intensive home-based treatment support, and liaising with external services such as the Police and A&E as required. Requirements

• Registered Nurse / health professional with current registration appropriate to the job role.
• Completion of Mentorship Course/ENB / professional equivalent.
• Significant post-qualifying experience in mental health or neurodevelopmental care.
• Experience of working consultatively with professionals and conducting clinical assessments, including risk assessments.
• Access to a suitable vehicle and ability to travel independently across the locality for business purposes.
• Visa / Skilled Worker (Tier 2) sponsorship is available, making this role open to foreign and overseas applicants who require a UK work visa.
