Job Description
As a substantive Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist, you will be an integral part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. This includes the management of patients with dementia, ensuring high-quality care is consistently provided.

While primarily focused on older adults, the client group may occasionally include a small number of patients under 65 years who are living with dementia or significant long-term physical illnesses or disabilities.
Requirements
- Valid medical qualification and specialist registration with the GMC.
- CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or equivalent, or within 6 months of obtaining it.
- Demonstrable experience in older persons mental health, particularly in community settings.
- Ability to lead and develop clinical pathways for functional mental disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
