Your daily responsibilities will involve investigating and managing incidents, diagnosing and resolving application issues, and continuously identifying opportunities to enhance service performance and user experience.
Working within the Digital & Technology Services Directorate, you will collaborate closely with operational teams, suppliers, and criminal justice partners to ensure that critical digital services remain reliable, effective, and perfectly aligned with business needs. Through proactive support, a commitment to continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder engagement, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality digital services that underpin the efficient operation of criminal courts and contribute directly to the administration of justice in England and Wales.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting users, stakeholders, or operational teams in the effective use of criminal justice applications and associated business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of incidents, service requests, and operational issues, ensuring their progression through to resolution or appropriate reassignment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate application issues, identify root causes, and collaborate on effective resolutions.
- Experience applying service management processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical and operational information clearly to diverse audiences.
- To apply for this role, you will be required to successfully complete Security Clearance (SC) level as a condition of appointment.
- Applicants must either possess the right to work in the UK or be eligible for Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visa sponsorship, which is available for this position.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with a London weighting for those based in the capital.
- Generous annual leave allowance and a commitment to flexible working arrangements.
- Opportunities for professional development and career progression within the Ministry of Justice.
- A Civil Service pension scheme with employer contributions.
- Access to a range of staff networks and employee support services.
